As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I specialize in helping patients navigate mental health challenges by medically managing disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, sleep problems, OCD, emotional and behavioral issues, addiction, and mood disorders. My goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate your own challenges and move toward the life you want and deserve.
You are more than just a diagnosis, which is why I emphasize a holistic view of care. This empathic and collaborative approach meets you where you’re at in your mental health journey, with treatment that centers on the whole person. Interventional psychiatric approaches may include Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and Spravato (esketamine) therapy, as well as medication management.
Outside the Office
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, knitting, wood carving, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with my wife and our dog, Moose.
The Experience Behind Your Care
Upon earning my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage, I began my nursing career in rural health settings across Alaska. I later completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University and spent nearly a decade working in hospital environments. This experience led me to completing my Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from Frontier Nursing University. I look forward to putting this expertise to work for your care.
