Integrative Psychiatry Program

Integrative psychiatry is a holistic approach that incorporates conventional treatments with complementary non-pharmaceutical therapies that focus on the underlying causes of mental health illnesses. This allows us to maintain a more balanced life.

Holistic, Evidence-Based Care

We emphasize evidence-based medicine backed by research and literature with attention to nutrition, exercise, supplements, herbs, sleep and mindfulness practices.

A Tailored Approach to Wellbeing

Wellness is a personal journey. We focus on personalized and individualized care, which allows a more effective treatment plan to foster overall wellbeing.

With our integrative approach, we focus on:

Nutrition

  • A nutritious diet fuels our body and mind
  • A healthy gut microbiome is essential for mental health

Sleep

  • Quality sleep can support our emotional wellbeing, cognitive function and stress tolerance

Supplements

  • Appropriate lab work will be completed to identify physiological deficiencies
  • Incorporating herbs and supplements to address nutritional deficiencies may help relieve symptoms without side effects like traditional medications

Life Balance

  • Exercise causes the brain to release endorphins and serotonin, our feel-good chemicals, which increases self-esteem, reduces stress, improves mood and boosts our energy
  • Mindfulness offers a sense of purpose and promotes positive thinking and overall emotional wellbeing while assisting in stress management
  • With continuous follow-ups, you will have someone to help hold you accountable every step of the way
